ESNNA Code
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru promotes the Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA), with the objective of raising awareness and training tourism sector stakeholders to prevent and eradicate any form of sexual exploitation of individuals under 18 years of age.
Treppid S.A.C., under the commercial name Treppid Travels, adheres to this code and firmly assumes its responsibility in protecting children and adolescents within all of its tourism operations.
Code of Conduct Against ESNNA
At Treppid S.A.C. – Treppid Travels, we are committed to implementing permanent actions to prevent and eliminate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents within the provision of our tourism services. We align with industry best practices and comply with national and international regulations that protect the rights of children and adolescents.
This commitment is reflected in our internal policies, staff training, responsible supplier selection, and constant awareness efforts directed at our customers.

Our Commitment
- We categorically reject all forms of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, especially those linked to travel and tourism, as such practices seriously violate human rights and are completely contrary to our company values and responsible tourism in Peru.
- We condemn and report anyone attempting to use tourism activities, our facilities, or our services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate the sexual exploitation of minors.
- We commit to respond immediately to any sign or report of ESNNA, informing the competent authorities according to legally established procedures.
Measures Adopted by Treppid S.A.C. Regarding ESNNA
As a travel agency and tour operator, Treppid S.A.C. – Treppid Travels adheres to the ESNNA Code of Conduct and assumes a series of measures to prevent any form of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
Our main actions include:
Internal Training and Awareness
We provide continuous training to our entire team (administrative area, operations, sales, guides, drivers, support staff, etc.) so they can identify risk situations and know how to act in potential ESNNA cases.
Rejection of Any Form of Sexual Commerce
No member of our team participates in, promotes, or facilitates any activity related to sexual commerce involving minors, such as:
- Use of children or adolescents in pornographic activities.
- Sex tourism.
- Trafficking of minors for commercial sexual exploitation.
Work with Suppliers and Partners
We promote awareness among our providers (lodging, restaurants, transportation, community tourism projects, etc.) to ensure they share our absolute rejection of ESNNA and commit to avoiding any activity involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
Social Responsibility
Through our tourism operations, we seek to generate responsible income for the families of the communities where we operate, and whenever possible, we support activities that benefit children’s well-being on special dates and in local projects.
Prevention Policies and Measures
- Provide periodic staff training to identify risk signals and know how to refer or report suspicious cases.
- Inform and raise awareness among our customers and business partners about the importance of responsible tourism free from child sexual exploitation.
- Include clauses in supplier contracts expressly prohibiting any act that threatens the integrity of children and adolescents.
- Promote immediate reporting to the competent authorities when a suspicious situation or ESNNA case is detected.
Applicable Legal Framework
Treppid S.A.C. – Treppid Travels operates in accordance with Peruvian and international regulations designed to protect children and adolescents, including:
- Law No. 29408 – General Tourism Law.
- Law No. 30802, regulating the admission of minors to lodging establishments.
- Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international treaty protecting the rights of minors.
How to Report?
If you become aware of or suspect a case involving sexual exploitation of children or adolescents, we encourage you to report it immediately through the official channels:
- Hotline 100 – Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (Emergency Women's Center).
- Hotline 0800-2-3232 – Ministry of the Interior.
- National Police of Peru – report to the nearest police station.
- Child and Adolescent Defender Offices or other protection institutions.
Treppid S.A.C. accepts, endorses, and promotes legislation that penalizes all forms of sexual exploitation of minors.
